OUR IMPACT
Welcome to ELEVEN Australia, where we pride ourselves on creating hair and body care products that are not only effective but also environmentally conscious. We understand the importance of reducing our impact on the environment and are constantly working with our suppliers and internally to achieve this goal.
While we acknowledge that we still have work to do, we remain committed to taking steps towards becoming more environmentally responsible. We believe in creating products that are globally compliant and meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. Our team of chemists and regulatory experts work tirelessly to ensure that our products are in line with each country’s legislation and regulations.

SUSTAINABILITY & OUR CARBON FOOTPRINT
OUR PACKAGING
A major focus for us at ELEVEN Australia is to continue looking at ways we can reduce our carbon footprint. Our bottles, tubs and cans are 100% recyclable, the way you recycle these will differ by region, so always best to check your local guidelines.
We choose our
suppliers carefully
OUR SUPPLIERS
We also do our best to partner with suppliers who are committed to reducing their environmental impact. Where possible our suppliers make conscious efforts to:
Here are some other amazing sustainability initiatives from our partners and suppliers:
NATURAL COOLING SYSTEM
ELEVEN Australia suppliers are always sharing ways in which they too are helping to reduce their environmental impact, like one of our brush suppliers who planted grass on the roof of their factory complex. This grass specifically needs less water irrigation and greatly aids in sheltering the factory from heat. This results in needing to use less air-cooling equipment and electricity since the grass helps to lower the indoor temperatures naturally.
CRADLE TO CRADLE CERTIFIED
We’re pleased to announce that our European print supplier is one of only three Cradle to Cradle certified printing companies in the world. Cradle to Cradle is an environmental certification guaranteeing that a product does not pollute and does not consume the Earth’s resources, becoming part of the natural cycle after use.
The idea is to invent and produce products that can be used repeatedly, resulting in products that don’t generate waste and are non-toxic to humans or the environment.
CRUELTY FREE
We are proud to confirm all our products are cruelty-free and officially approved by PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals). We also proudly support Beauty without Bunnies.
This means that none of our products or the ingredients we use has been tested on animals. We have also ensured that all our suppliers and manufacturers provide us with the current and correct documentation to ensure that each individual ingredient in our range is sourced ethically and is not harmful to any animal in the process.
You might have noticed that we recently removed the official bunny and cruelty-free logos on our packaging. This is due to EU laws that have been put in place to ensure companies no longer use these logos on their packaging. This is because it is illegal to test on animals’ full stop in Europe (which is a good thing). As our products are sold globally, we decided to remove these symbols to ensure that our packaging is universal, but you can shop easily, knowing you’re doing no harm.
vegan must-have products
VEGAN PRODUCTS
We strive to offer as many vegan
products as possible.
ELEVEN Australia offers a wide selection of vegan hair products to reduce our environmental impact. Studies show animal farming contributes to 60% more greenhouse emissions, and we want to do our part. We strive to make as many vegan products as as possible.
PALM OIL
As a brand, we are very conscious of the environmental, economic and social impacts of using palm oil from Asia, Africa and Latin America. We choose not to use palm oil as a stand-alone ingredient in our products, however, a handful of other ingredients we use contain palm oil that has been obtained from sustainable palm farms.
For these few ingredients, we obtain an RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) Certificate from the supplier to ensure it is produced without environmental damage. This organisation certifies that the palm oil used is always sourced from sustainable palm farms.
WE WORK WITH MANUFACTURERS ALL OVER THE WORLD
OUR PRODUCT MANUFACTURING
At ELEVEN Australia, we value high-performing products above all else.
That's why we carefully choose manufacturers from all over the world to ensure we get the best ingredients and products available. We also take shipping and the environment into consideration, striving to reduce shipping times and our carbon footprint.
Did you know it can take up to 2 ½ months or longer to ship from Australia to the EU? That's why we work with trusted manufacturers around the world to close that gap and reduce our environmental impact.
Carrying more inventory for longer periods isn't an option as it could risk product expiration. Our goal is to always bring you fresh and top-performing products in the quickest time possible while minimising our environmental impact.
GOOD MANUFACTURING PROCESSES
We take the quality and ethical production of our products seriously at ELEVEN Australia. That’s why we ensure that all our manufacturers have their Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Certificate.
GMP is a rigorous international system that ensures cosmetics are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. This means that companies must follow a quality approach to manufacturing to minimise or eliminate contamination, mix-ups, and errors.
These guidelines protect consumers from purchasing ineffective or even dangerous products.By following GMP regulations, we can guarantee quality practices and consistency throughout the production, control, storage, and shipping of our products. All elements of these production stages, including people, premises, processes, products, and procedures, are vetted to ensure that we provide the highest quality products to our customers.

ELEVEN AUSTRALIA X HAPPY BOXES PROJECT
ELEVEN Australia is proud to partner with the Happy Boxes Project, an organisation dedicated to empowering women by providing them with self-care products like shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, and soap. These Happy Boxes are given to women and children in remote areas of Australia who lack access to even the most basic essentials.
We believe that it is unacceptable for women in our own country to go without basic toiletries, which is why we are thrilled to support the Happy Boxes Project. You can join us in supporting this worthy cause by donating to "give a little happy" and learn more about the amazing work they do by clicking here.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF COUNTRY
ELEVEN Australia acknowledges and pays respect to the past, present and future traditional custodians and elders of this nation and the continuation of cultural, spiritual and educational practices of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
